This carving was made with the idea of, "See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil." The three skulls here are in place what would traditionally be symbolized by three monkeys, this concept came from Japanese culture. In Buddhist tradition the three Wise Monkeys are seen as, avoiding evil in themselves through self-control, avoiding things like gossip, hurtful talk or avoiding evil deeds and thoughts.
This rose quartz carving is well done and a great size too! It has great details and yet it's all skulls!
